Meet a few of our veterans ...
Fred Mitchell: US Air Force
Joining the military has been one of my greatest accomplishments. It taught me nothing is impossible when you have a plan and the importance of teamwork! These two lessons alone have helped shape me into the man I am today.

Gayle Hope: US Army
Being a military veteran is one of the most rewarding things you can do in life. It helps you to grow and understand people, from all forms of life. It also disciplines you and help you make better choices. Gives you a sense of purpose.

Jason Sea: US Marines
I learned to treat others with dignity and respect. Able to adapt, overcome, lead by example, and make tough decisions under pressure. Have the strength to be positive, motivated, and do what’s right (in line with SRC value, “Do what we say we do”). Commitment to team and country.

Kenny Beach: US Navy
The Naval Core values of Honor, Courage and Commitment embedded in everyday operations aboard US nuclear Submarines align closely with those of SRC. The Navy taught us to work as a team and back everyone up. Not only did you need to know your job and the systems under your responsibility but others as well. Working in close quarters with various people from all over the US we learned to work together to accomplish the mission at hand regardless of any differences we may have had. If there was job to be done it had to be done right with no compromise because people lives depended on you no matter how small the task may seem. Thee since of pride that comes knowing your job, completing a task with excellence and doing what you say you do, learned in and experienced in the USN still apply every day at SRC.
